August 28th (A) and 31st (B)

Do YOU like to write? Why or why not? Are there certain kinds of writing that you like to do more than others? What scares you about writing?

WELCOME TO SCHOOL!

Welcome! I’m excited to be reading, writing, and learning with you this year! The purpose of this class is to teach you how to think critically, ask questions, and solve problems. To accomplish this goal, we will explore different books, analyze and practice writing, build vocabulary and grammar skills, and discuss all of it along the way! I look forward to getting to know all of you in the upcoming year.

This website is where you can go when you are ABSENT to find out what we did in class that day, what you will need to make up, and what (if any) your homework assignment was so you can stay on track and not fall behind.

Also, you can find information about projects/assignments, and reminders about tests and other due dates for class.

Please feel free to review the DISCLOSURE DOCUMENT over the course of the year with questions regarding classroom rules, late work, absences, cell phone policies, etc.
